1. Who we are

This website, savanshahandco.in (the "Site"), is operated by Savan U Shah & Associates (trading as "Savan Shah & Co."), a proprietary firm of Chartered Accountants registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Membership No. 170083; Firm Registration No. 149129W), with its office at 404 Vishwanath North View, Opp. LD Engineering Hostel, Gulbai Tekra, Ahmedabad 380009, Gujarat, India ("we", "us", "the Firm"). References to "you" mean the person or entity engaging the Firm or using the Site.

By using the Site or engaging the Firm's services and making a payment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Services

The Firm provides professional services in the fields of accountancy, taxation, audit and assurance, certification, and related advisory. The specific scope of any engagement is agreed in writing before work begins, through a proposal, engagement letter, or email confirmation.

3. Engagement and scope

• Each engagement is limited to the scope, period, and deliverables expressly agreed in writing. Work outside that scope is a separate engagement.
• Advice and reports are prepared on the basis of the facts, documents, and information you provide, and the law in force on the date of issue. They should not be relied upon for any other matter, party, or period.
• The Firm may decline or withdraw from an engagement where required by professional or regulatory standards, or where information is incomplete, unlawful, or misrepresented.

4. Fees and payment

• Fees for each engagement are communicated to you in writing before work begins. Fees are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other statutory levies, which are charged additionally where applicable.
• Fees do not include out-of-pocket costs, government fees, statutory challans, filing fees, or amounts payable to third parties, which are billed at actuals or collected in advance.
• Payments made through this Site are processed by a third-party payment aggregator. A payment confirms your instruction to proceed on the agreed scope and your acceptance of these Terms.
• Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Delivery of services

Our services are professional services delivered electronically (by email or secure sharing) or in person; no physical goods are shipped. Indicative timelines are agreed for each engagement and depend on the timely receipt of complete and accurate documents from you. Statutory or regulatory deadlines applicable to your matter take precedence over indicative timelines.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide complete, accurate, and timely information and documents, and inform us promptly of any change.
• Make your own commercial decisions; our role is advisory, and final filings, elections, and decisions rest with you.
• Comply with applicable law and retain the records relevant to your affairs.

7. Confidentiality

Information you share is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties except with your consent, to a payment aggregator to process a payment, or where disclosure is required by law or by a regulatory or judicial authority. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Professional standards

The Firm and its proprietor are governed by the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, and the standards, guidelines, and Code of Ethics of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Nothing on this Site is an advertisement, solicitation, or inducement, and no results are guaranteed. Content on the Site is general information, not advice for any specific matter.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Firm's liability arising out of or in connection with any engagement is limited to the professional fees received for that engagement. The Firm is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided to it, or from your reliance on advice for a matter or period other than the one for which it was issued.

10. Ownership of work

Reports, computations, and workings prepared for you may be used by you for the purpose for which they were issued. Copyright and other rights in the Firm's templates, methodology, and materials remain with the Firm.

11. Third-party payment processing

Online payments are handled by an independent payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. Your use of that service is also subject to the aggregator's own terms and privacy policy. The Firm does not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable professional dispute-resolution mechanism, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your engagement or payment applies to that transaction.
